Power / Pressure Washing
Power washing is the application of high pressure water spray. The results can be astonishing and well worth the investment. The value of a home can be increased by several thousand dollars with proper power washing, staining and sealing of badly weathered siding and decking.
Power / Pressure Washing
Power washing may look simple, but it isn’t. Residential quality power washers can be ineffective and a waste of time. A commercial quality power washer in the hands of an inexperienced person can result in visible and permanent damage to the wood. High pressure water can cut through and damage many surfaces instantly. An inexperienced person can literally carve wood with a 3000 psi pressure washer. Many homeowners have permanently damaged their siding and decks in this manner.
Proper and effective pressure washing requires experience. The proper balance of bleach and detergent solution, commercial grade, high quality equipment, and experience is necessary to achieve beautiful, long-lasting results.

Exterior Painting and Staining
What many people don’t know is that the most important part of any paint job is the surface preparation. If the surface preparation is done poorly or incorrectly, the end result will not look ideal and the longevity of the application will be greatly affected. Unlike many painting contractors, Prime Coat takes the time to properly prepare the surface. Depending on the condition of the wood, this can take just as long as application of the product. Mark will thoroughly power wash the entire exterior surface, scrape and sand any problem areas, sand the entire project when necessary, and seal cracks, holes, and any other problem areas. Customers are amazed at the “before” and “after” of proper surface preparation.
All areas that will not be painted are then covered and the application process starts. In most instances, the product is sprayed on and back brushed. Window trim, fascia board, etc. is brushed. All our equipment is commercial quality, and only premium products are recommended to ensure the best possible result.
